November Meeting Reminder

Saturday, November 17th is our next meeting and we will discussing ways that we can make the world a better place and earn our Rose petal.  If you are unable to make it, don't worry you will have the opportunity to earn this petal.  Please remember to wear your uniform and bring your dues!  Kayden is bringing snack and Stephanie L. is our parent helper.  The Daisy meeting is from 2-3:45 and the ceremonies will begin at 3:45 concluding at 4:00.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Daisy Investiture Ceremony

This past Saturday was our Investiture Ceremony! This ceremony symbolizes the beginning of scouting.  The girls received their first year certificate and daisy pin.  Here are some photos of the ceremony.  Thank you Soula for taking them!

 

 

 

 

 

October Meeting Reminder

Saturday, October 27th is our next meeting!  

I am excited to meet with you all again and have several fun activities planned. Be ready to state the Daisy Scout Promise to receive the center patch!  Soula is our parent helper and Elena is bringing drinks and a treat.  Please remember your September and October dues if you have not paid.  Dues are $2 per meeting.  Also, if you have not turned in your blanket permission form and media release form please bring those completed.  The Daisy meeting is from 2-3:45 and the ceremonies will begin at 3:45 concluding at 4:00.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Welcome to the Daisies!

This Saturday we had our first Daisy troop meeting and I had a great time getting to know our Daisies! We did a few crafts, played a game, learned a new song, and had a snack of course. The girls were excited about learning the Girl Scout sign, handshake, and the Girl Scout Promise.  For our next meeting all Daisies need to be able to recite the Promise and they will earn their first patch, the blue Promise center.  

This is the Promise:

Uniform money ($33) is due by October 22nd.  I will pick up the uniforms and pass them out at the October meeting.  Meeting dues are $24 for the year or $2 per meeting- you decide!  

Our next troop meeting will be Saturday, October 27th from 2:00-3:45.  We will have our Investiture Ceremony from 3:45-4:00 and the girls and I would love for you to join us!
